Bob McTiernan

Gift Planning Manager

Bob McTiernan is Manager of Major Gifts and Planned Giving. Bob assists friends of the Archdiocese in learning about the benefits of planned giving, and determining the most appropriate gift for the benefactor and their parish, favored ministry or school.

Bob works closely together with benefactors interested in making planned and endowed gifts, including Charitable Gift Annuities and Charitable Reminder Trusts. He also assists parishes with creating endowments, and conducting Will & Estate Planning seminars and Planned Giving seminars.

Bob is the former Director of Development for the Marist Fathers & Brothers of Boston, and is married with four children. Bob works for the Archdiocese of Hartford because he believes fundraising is an important ministry, and that planned giving is a meaningful program for helping spread the Word of God and supporting the Catholic formation for future generations.
